Terrell Owens fires publicist: holes in the story
Like this ESPN story says, firing a publicist isn’t normally news, but it is in the case of Terrell Owens’ publicist Kim Etherege because she became part of the spotlight when Owens apparently did/didn’t try to commit suicide by swallowing too many pills.
Whetever happened, Etheredge made a 9-11 call and pleaded with a paramedic about what to do if the pills were down his (Owens’) throat. The story is very unclear. Even the ESPN story is full of wierd holes.
- Why would Etherege think/say Owens tried to kill himself?
- If she was lying, why did she choose suicide?
- Why did he fire her (it’s obvious)?
- How does a guy who is capable of making $25 million a year “accidentaly” overdose on painkillers?
