Stewards of assets

How many wealthy people in the world do you know that would say this?

My wife and I have been blessed by the Lord with financial resources. We feel a need to give back. The IRS says we own these assets, but we believe they belong to the Lord, and we are stewards over them.

I agree that he showed great perspective when he said this. I’d like to do and be the same. (And I’d like to meet Alan.)

He sure made me think. In fact, I have been thinking about how (even as bloggers) we have a bit of a responsibility to talk about the church. I have even noticed that Paul’s posts are starting to reflect more of that “preach the gospel” repsonsibility.

He’s got an audience. He should use it for good. (Which he does).
