Political marketing: Doing a radio interview

I’ll be doing a 30-minute radio interview tomorrow on political marketing. I’ll be addressing the differences in Obama’s campaign and Hillary’s campaign, use of social media, best campaign image, use of blogs and anything else pertinent.

Anything you think I should address? Speak now or hold your peace.

It’s an internet radio station, and I don’t have details yet on where to listen.

Hi! I’m Vicki Kunkel, the host and producer of the show. Here is a link with info on how to listen to the show live, or how to participate in the show by calling in or e-mailing us with questions.

Perhaps you could discuss the level of disingenuousness introduced through PR politicking as opposed to presidential campaigns conducted in the early days of the country.

The latter is supported in the book Founding Brothers, wherein the author states:

…the very notion that a candidate should openly solicit votes violated the principled presumption that such behavior itself represented a confession of unworthiness for national office.” (Founding Brothers: The Revolutionary Generation, p. 162)

Anywho, just a thought. Have fun!

I want you to address two things…

First - How sexy and awesomely cool I am.

Second - How the Democrats political infighting is damaging (or not damaging) their party’s brand. (And yes, I know that’s a shameless plug for my own blog.

[...] One of the things we discussed on Internet Voices Radio today was who I would “hire” as President of the United States if I were a CEO in a position to do so. [...]
