Ze Frank – Rocketboom who?

I watched Rocketboom once for a few minutes, and I never quite understood all the hoopla. Personally, when it comes to vlogs I think Ze Frank will be a star if he goes for it.
First it was blogs, then podcasts and RSS. Vlogs next? Watch out for Ze. Jason Calacanis seems to agree.

Bill Clinton adviser to head Wal-Mart PR/PR News

Leslie Dach, a prominent Democratic operative who advised President Bill Clinton during the impeachment process is going to head up Wal-Mart’s government affairs and public relations.

This is about the only PR guy I can think of that is going to see his new job grab the attention of The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, MSN Money, and a host of other big-name media outlets. Why? It’s prominence. I explain this “Getting Media Coverage for Your Business.”
Why the google alert “public relations” is useless.
It’s all PR promotion.
Pioneer Day

I’m taking the day off to celebrate Pioneer Day. Pioneer Day celebrates July 24, 1847, which is the day the Mormon Pioneers first came to the Salt Lake Valley.
It’s a state holiday, so we get fireworks twice in July!
. . . I say take the day off, but house work isn’t really a day off now is it.
