Exploring the Art & Science of Marketing
Only a fool . . .
“Only a fool would spend $300 on a jacket,” said the store clerk at Ross Dress For Less. I was there exchanging some gym pants, but we had somehow got on the topic of $300 jackets.
Making conversation and trying to jog his thinking, I said . . .
“Either that or only a genius would spend $300 on a jacket because he was smart enough to know how to make the money to buy it.”
“I’ve never thought of it like that,” said the clerk. I hadn’t thought about a $300 jacket that way either, but the words came out of my mouth. I think it’s because I have been reading a lot of things like this exerpt from the book Atlas Shrugged (Francisco’s Money Speech).

Haha, before I read the last paragraph I was going to suggest you read that speech. Looks like you’re on top of things.
