Mitt Romney PR team at work
This image is telling of what it’s like for PR strategists who are crafting messaging strategies and how carefully they choose the wording of communications.

Did you see the errors? This image is a screen capture of the main news area at MittRomney.com.
Here’s a probable scenario . . .
Romney PR Team: Should we say Pete Hoekstra will “be” his adviser or should we say Hoekstra will “serve as” his adviser.
As you can see in the image, they just forgot to pick one or the other.
p.s. They also misspelled governor as govrenor. I may have just caught it while they were putting it up because they have now changed it to say Gov., which is the correct Associated Press style.
