Out come the mac nerds! I use a powerbook for a notebook, and a trusty pc on the desktop. In terms of hardware and industrial design, there really isn’t a better notebook on the market than a mac.
Do you want to run Mac OS X and Windows, or just Windows? Before the Utah Bloggers conference, Phil Windley was showing everyone how he could switch between OS X and Windows at a press of a button. See his review on ZDnet:
There are good arguments to be made for both. In fact, given the option, I’d have both — probably a Thinkpad T-series and a Macbook Pro.
Since that’s not feasible right now, though, I picked a Mac. I can run my (few) Windows-only applications just fine in VirtualPC, but I can’t run my Mac stuff on a PC.
