John Edwards: I was, um, uh . . . wrong about Iraq

Apparently there is a book coming out soon that says John Edwards was “pushed” into voting to go to war in Iraq by a political adviser.

Johnny boy denies the claim and says it wasn’t a political calculation. He says the vote was just a mistake. The publicity problem for Mr. Edwardo is that his former adviser believes that the then senator would have made a different decision if it weren’t for such pressure.

Pushed or Mistake? Either way, he’s on his way out of the race. Iraq is too big of an issue, and it’s one the Democrats are going after. via BostonGlobe (Thanks to Chris for the tip).
