Exploring the Art & Science of Marketing
Hi (High?) traffic blog posts
I was looking over my web traffic stats for my blog this morning, and found the following posts seem to generate lots of discussion and traffic. I never thought they would.
Barack Obama, Cocaine Use and 60 Minutes – This post details why I think the news media never really covered the fact that Barack Obama admitted to snorting cocaine.
Obama/Palin Dancing with the Stars – This is a Photoshop mockery of Barack and Sarah Waltzing or doing the Tango or something.
Why you should vote – This was a collaborative blog post that a couple of other people agreed to write and post at the same time I did. See (Announcing my future candidacy, Chris Knudsen) and (Why you should vote, Connor Boyack).
Barack Obama is not black? – This is one of the most ridiculous claims I have ever heard, so I posted a video of the woman making the claim.
Hmmm… Maybe I should write more about politics.

Obama is less than 9% black and as such doesn’t qualify nor does he have the right to claim that he is. He also has yet to product a valid and verifiable birth certificate. The one that was produced in June of this year revealed several discrepancies. To wit: The certificate number was blacked out. The type face used in the document was computer generated and they used typewriters in the late 50′s and early 60′s. The copy that he produced did not have the officeial raised seal of the State Of Hawaii on it. All of the type was in CAPS except for the date of birth. As much as I don’t like McCaan I feel Obama posses a much greater threat to this nation. Furthermore , this claim by many that he is the messiah and his failure to denounce that claim makes him even more of a threat to this nation. I feel that the democratic party should have required him to provide positive certified proof of his birth place and that they should have been more honest up front and told people that he doesn’t qualify as an African American within the scope of is recognized as an African American. Obama, being 47.83 percent Arab technically still makes him an “African American” as Arabia is part of Africa. But not in the conventional sense of the term.
In closing, any individual that runs for any office in this Great Nation that takes it upon themselves to remove the American Flag from their podiums and planes deserves at best to be deported much less elected to public office.
Just food for thought on this election day 2008

Russ I haven’t looked on here in a while.
I think the whole “brother” stuff on Colbert-and everywhere else-is pretty funny. Every response from the lady was funny. I think she was a good sport. I’ve done some reading on his percentage of black. I don’t think his brothers care, they see black, not Kenya or Hawaii or anything else.
I think your point on truthfulness on drug use is right on. It doesn’t make news headlines when a politician is honest-at least with dealings like this.
I’m sure you read Orson Scott Card’s article on truth in reporting. I’d be interested to know your thoughts on that.

actually i saw this and i think the media did a good job at reporting it, because they did. I think the media just chose to crucify sarah palin for what she DIDNT know and McCain for choosing her.
