Dave Fox talks about his mortgage scandal

If you haven’t heard already, KUTV sports anchor Dave Fox has been in trouble recently with the law for communications fraud. From what I understand, he bought an investment property, said he was going to live in it and didn’t. The problem is, some home loans have stipulations that require you to declare that residence as a primary residence, and that’s not what happened (from what I understand).

He plead in abeyance, paid a $500 fine and has to keep his nose clean for 3 years . . . oh, he gets to keep his job at KUTV as well. See what Dave had to say.

My question is how did he not know that he wasn’t going to live in the property? I have no sympathy for the guy because he is the most arrogant member of the media in the market.

I have a hunch he did know what he was doing. They’re pretty clear to you about it when you are buying a second home and it has stipulations on it being a primary residence.

I think kutv mad a big mistake keeping Dave Fox on board. That doesn’t say much for their integrity. He tried to scam their viewers and would still be doing it if he wouldn’t have been caught. He was very arrogant in his apology speech when he said “everyone make mistakes” He should have let someone else say that for him. I think it all depends on what religion you are in this state.
