I haven’t studied all the information, but it’s nice to have opposing voices on such hot issues.
Let me say this, I’m just like Chris in that “I consider myself an environmentalist. I believe we have a stewardship to take care of the earth. I believe that we need to control pollution. I’m concerned about deforestation. I believe in recycling. I think we need to find renewable forms of energy. I am in favor of preserving green spaces.” Growing up in Utah will do that to you.

Utah? Sheeesh. You should try Oregon. But I am fully supportive of the stewardship argument. My grandparents and before (that were Utahns) were onto something with “use it up, wear it out…”
Oh, and by the way, I’m not sure that Utah has green spaces to preserve…
