70 million people tuned in to watch the 1997 NBA finals.
7 million people tuned in to watch game 2 of the 2007 finals.
The Spurs/Cavs matchup has been pulling the lowest NBA Finals ratings ever (since they were tracked). I called a Spurs sweep to a bunch of friends . . . it’s 60-59 with eight minutes to go in game four. We’ll see what happens.
Yikes.
