7 of top 10 blogs have three columns
Is this a coincidence or is it something to think about that seven of the top 10 blogs ranked by Technorati use a three-column layout? I remember when I first started blogging in October of 2003 that I was taken back by the popular two-column layout of the blog. It was a rare thing to see in frequently updated web sites like blogs. Not only that, but hyperlinks were suddenly being placed down the right side of the page as well. That was not normal then either . . .
All this aside, which of the “Top Blogs” do you actually read? Engadget, BoingBoing, DailyKos, PostSecret, Gizmodo, LifeHacker, etc… any others?
